Have you ever been afraid to raise your hand in class or in work meetings? Maybe you avoided telling friends or loved ones your true desires or feelings? This hesitation often stems from a fear of being judged by others.

It is impossible to be liked by everyone at all times. It also can be hard to bear the angry words of someone else as they voice their opinions and degrade yours. On the flip side, it can be difficult not to judge others. We tend to make judgments when we first meet people, and whenever an opinion is heard, we tend to chime in with our own perspective.
