Located three blocks from the White House, the National Theater has entertained every U.S. President of the United States since Andrew Jackson. From presidential inaugural balls to world command performances of international artistic merit, the National Theater has held a distinct place in American history.  Not only has the theater played a significant role in national events by boosting public morale in times of conflict, but it has also served as a focal point for issues, such as civil rights.

On September 23, 2016, the citizens and visitors of Washington D.C. were given the opportunity to attend a very special event at the National Theater. Sadhguru offered unique insights into many aspects of life, ranging from the mundane to the ultimate. He expounded on why and how to approach his new book, “Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy”. This was an interactive event, which included a short meditation and an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. Many of the participants stated how being in Sadhguru’s presence enabled them to open up to the joy within. This was augmented by Sadhguru’s way of speaking, in a simple, clear style with many examples and allegorical stories.

The hall was vibrant with laughter and smiles!
