More and more people are questioning the directions that their lives are taking.  Often, they feel restless, sad and even resentful at having these emotions. There might be a hard-to-describe feeling of wanting something more, but not being quite sure what that “more” is.

Some people feel unfulfilled, even though their lives are good, according to average standards.   They can be busy and successful, but they still have a sense of inner emptiness. Or they can be on the opposite end of the spectrum, where they feel that not much in their lives is how they imagined it would be, and they don’t understand why that is.

Restlessness is often associated with lack of interest, lack of motivation and an inability to enjoy or appreciate life.  Some people claim that restlessness in our modern society can be blamed on the outpouring of modern technology, such as cell phones, social web media, as well as the internet, video games and television. These and other distractions are believed to pull at our attention, wear down our focus, and keep us from concentrating on one task at a time.

Sadhguru provides us with insight so we might understand that feeling of restlessness and how to change it into restfulness.
